“Me and my husband spent three nights at The Little Green Cottage and what a gem!! You wouldn't know you were in the heart of Dorchester, and we loved enjoying morning coffee in the beautiful peaceful garden. We'd never been to Dorchester before and it was lovely. We had a gorgeous breakfast in The Pickled Partridge, which was only a five-minute walk away, and also discovered a beautiful riverside walk up the path right near the cottage. We then walked into town to pick up supplies and stumbled upon Brewery Square! If you've not been before, you must go - lots of lovely shops and restaurants. One evening we went for a lovely meal at The King's Arms nearby, a gorgeous gastro pub with a lovely sunny garden. Thank you Edd and Donna for a perfect stay with comfy beds, fluffy towels, and a beautiful little cottage. We have booked again and would thoroughly recommend it to our family and friends xx”
“Little Green Cottage is a lovely little cottage. From the moment we walked in, it felt so welcoming. We had an excellent time, with easy access to the shops and lots of restaurants for food. Parking wasn’t an issue at all and was literally only a five-minute walk away. There were some lovely touches from the hosts, who were very attentive. We will definitely be staying here again!”
“Two frazzled mates from London & Surrey descended into Little Green Cottage for some well-deserved R&R. What we hadn’t anticipated was how beautiful it was!! It had everything we needed. Donna was so kind to leave a basket of treats, and a fridge with enough essentials to see us through in the mornings. She even suggested some places to visit, one being Sculptures by the lake - truly stunning. We’d never have found it otherwise. The garden at Little Green was just glorious and a great spot for our morning coffees. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. We’d definitely come back again.”
“The cottage was absolutely beautiful. The owner has thought about every little detail and makes sure you have everything you could possibly need (including really good fans during the current heatwave weather!). We even had a basket of goodies left for us, which was a lovely touch as well as milk, butter and condiments in the fridge. The cottage is immaculately clean (you are welcomed with a beautiful clean smell as soon as you enter and the bedding had that wonderful just off the washing line smell), the beds are so comfy, the bathroom is perfect with a great shower over the bath. The garden is beautiful. The kitchen has everything you need. It was peaceful yet in a fabulous location to walk to local restaurants, shops etc. Despite no parking at the cottage, parking was easy. We parked on the street to unload the car, which you are allowed to do for an hour. We then moved the car to a nearby public car park and paid a small fee but was easy to walk back to the cottage. We were then able to park back outside the property to load the car at the end of our stay. Literally everything was perfect, I just wish we could have stayed longer. My 6 year old son wanted to live there forever and didn't want to leave.”
